“Though my formal training is as a scientist, I have always embraced a full spectrum of the arts; so, the creation of my jewelry seems to be a very natural extension.  I have been fortunate to have lived in five different countries on three different continents, and always so inspired by the beauty that different cultures embrace.  I want my work to be first mindful and respectful of the symbolism of these cultures.”

Guzman’s body of work pays homage to the main cultural influences in his designs: the Asante People from Ghana in West Africa, through a collection of Adinkra Symbols; the Celtic, Norse (Viking), and Mayan cultures, represented in various pieces reminiscent of the ancient, but revived into the modern.

Guzman’s collection is vast; from silver with brass spinner rings, square rings with or without gems, copper fire and blue earrings, copper and silver enameled earrings, leather bracelets and necklaces with mixed metal pendants echoing the symbols of the past and inspiration for the future and so much more.

Stop into Angela Lensch Gallery over Labor Day weekend and enjoy this diverse collection of handmade jewelry. Refreshments and light snacks will be available throughout the event.

COPPER WIND SCULPTURES

DAVE RIEMER

COPPER WIND SCULPTURES

Angela Lensch Gallery is honored to be featuring the impressive outdoor copper wind sculptures by renowned, regional artist, Dave Riemer. You may recognize his mesmerizing copper wind sculptures from Egg Harbor’s ‘Harbor View Park’ as well as many private collections and galleries around the Midwest.   The flowering gardens of Angela Lensch Gallery now feature over a dozen different styles and sizes of Dave’s amazing  kinetic sculptures. From polished copper to blue/green patina and “Tornados” to “Starflares”

Using the slightest breeze these sculptures move with graceful sweeping arms, changing with the light as they cast complex geometric shadows over your garden. Guaranteed for years of maintenance free motion while remaining outdoors all year round. They will even continue to turn with a full load of snow on them!

Watching their motion has been described to be ‘as relaxing as watching a lazy river’.

Every sculpture is shaped and assembled by hand, using the highest quality bearings, copper, brass and stainless steel. Built to last for decades without maintenance, they will provide a graceful, peaceful motion to any garden.
