- It was a bumpy, blurry 5.5 hours to our first home: Udayan, just outside of Jaipur. This photo was while we were still in Delhi, trying to get out of the city and all the traffic.
- All the big trucks have this written in the back. The use of horns while driving in India is as important as blinkers or ‘dippers’ as they call them in India. All the trucks like this one are painted up with bright colors and tassels too- each unique and different.
- Meet “Omkar” or first and best driver of the entire trip!!! No one can drive in India better then Omkar!
- 14.5 hours later we arrive in New Delhi. It is 8:00pm in Delhi, Feb 17th, 2012. I am walking out of the bathroom in this photo – Love the image of the ‘woman’
- After 6 hours of being in the Chicago Airport we board the plain. It is 6:30pm Feb. 16th, 2012
- All packed up and ready to go! Just about to leave our ‘home sweet home’ in Egg Harbor, WI
We arrive at Udayan at 1:30am on Saturday, Feb 18th, 2012…. did it really take two days to travel half way around the world?
